Lighting plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy coral, and a well-designed lighting schedule can make your tank far more enjoyable to look at. Over the years, I’ve gradually refined my own custom schedule, originally based on the AB+ profile, adding a “high noon” phase to simulate the peak intensity of sunlight during the day. I like to call this phase “cooking” the corals, as it delivers higher PAR and intensity to promote better growth and color. I pair this with a crisp white aesthetic that gives the tank a clean, natural, and visually stunning appearance. In fact, my Miyagi Tort has even spawned under this lighting setup—so I’d say it’s safe to call it tried and true!

Once you have dropbox its an easy way to get the file on your phone, save my schedule to your drop box. then on your phone open it with mobius and it will load up the schedule!
Side note: I’m currently running the Ecotech Fadion Pros. I find them to have a greater span of spectrum than the blues. If you appreciate both the heavy blue pop and the crisp vibrant reef ascetics then the pro’s are the way to go in my opinion!
